1. General Terms
By making a booking with A&A CarRental, the customer accepts all terms and conditions outlined in this document. A car rental agreement becomes legally binding once full payment has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued.
All rental activity is governed by Spanish law, including:

2. Payments
Payments are processed securely through Wix Payments using credit cards, debit cards, and other accepted digital payment methods.
A&A CarRental never stores credit card information.
Bookings are only confirmed after full payment has been successfully processed.
Wix Payments may perform verification or authorization checks for security purposes.
3. Strict Cancellation Policy
3.1 Non-Refundable Bookings
All bookings with A&A CarRental are non-refundable.
No refund is provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
-
flight delays or cancellations
-
illness
-
personal reasons
-
weather conditions
-
change of travel plans
-
transportation issues
This aligns with Spanish regulations for services booked for specific dates.
3.2 No-Show
A booking is void and non-refundable if the customer fails to:
-
arrive at the agreed time
-
present a valid driving licence
-
provide a valid ID or passport
-
provide a valid credit card for the security deposit
4. Booking Changes
Booking changes are possible up to 72 hours before the rental start, subject to availability.
Changes within 72 hours cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
5. Vehicle Pick-up Requirements
Customers must present the following:
-
Valid driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
-
Valid passport or national ID
-
Valid credit card in the driver’s name for the deposit
Failure to meet these requirements results in loss of booking with no refund.
6. Insurance Terms
6.1 CDW – Collision Damage Waiver (Basic Insurance)
Included in all rentals with an excess (deductible) depending on vehicle category (usually €600–€1200).
CDW does not cover:
-
damage to tyres, wheels, windows, mirrors
-
underbody damage
-
loss of keys
-
misfuelling
-
interior damage
-
fire caused by negligence
-
off-road driving
-
damage resulting from prohibited use
6.2 SCDW – Super Collision Damage Waiver (Full Coverage Option)
Available as an upgrade.
Reduces or eliminates the excess but does not cover damages caused by negligence, reckless driving, or breach of contract.
6.3 TP – Theft Protection
Covers theft or attempted theft of the vehicle, excluding:
-
theft resulting from lost or unreturned keys
-
vehicle left unlocked or unattended
-
negligence
6.4 PAI – Personal Accident Insurance
Optional insurance covering the driver and passengers in case of injury.
6.5 Insurance does not cover
-
traffic fines or legal penalties
-
driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
-
off-road driving or driving outside authorised areas
-
intentional damage or gross negligence
-
incorrect fuel usage
The customer is financially responsible for damages not covered by insurance.
7. Refund Policy
Refunds are only provided in the following exceptional cases:
7.1 Vehicle Not Available
If A&A CarRental cannot provide the booked vehicle or an equivalent category vehicle, the customer may choose:

Full refund
or -
Upgrade to a higher category at no extra cost (subject to availability)
7.2 Breakdown
If a mechanical breakdown occurs and no replacement vehicle is available within a reasonable timeframe, a partial refund will be issued for the unused rental period.
No other compensation is offered.
8. Security Deposit
A security deposit is required at pick-up and must be placed on a valid credit card in the renter’s name.
The deposit is released once the vehicle is returned in the same condition.
Release times vary by bank (typically 3–10 business days).
9. Privacy & Data Protection
Payment information is processed exclusively through Wix Payments in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards.
A&A CarRental:
-
does not process credit card data directly
-
does not store card numbers
-
handles personal data in compliance with GDPR and Spanish data protection laws (LOPDGDD)
10. Legal Notice (Aviso Legal)
A&A CarRental operates in accordance with Spanish commercial and consumer legislation.
Any legal disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Alicante, Spain, unless consumer protection laws dictate otherwise.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking, the customer confirms that they:

have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions

agree to all payment, cancellation, and insurance rules
-
understand that bookings are strictly non-refundable
